BD® PosiFlush™ Pre-Filled Saline Syringe complies with major PICC manufacturer recommendations for flushing with a 10-mL syringe. It also improves clinician efficiency and workflow by eliminating the steps and time involved in the manual preparation of saline syringes.
Impact to solution contamination
Designed to prevent solution from entering a nonsterile area of the syringe, the product helps reduce the risk of solution contamination. The saline pre-filled flush products feature a sterile fluid pathway.
Impact to catheter dwell time
A failed IV catheter means pain, dissatisfaction, prolongation of care and venous depletion, compounded by the need to treat minor and severe IV catheter failure-related sequelae.
Reduced medication errors
The syringe supports efforts to reduce the risk of medication errors by meeting Joint Commission and ISMP medication labelling guidelines.
Varying sizes to meet your flushing needs
The syringe is conveniently available in 3-, 5- and 10-mL sizes. All of these sizes feature a consistent 10-mL syringe barrel diameter that may help lower the risk of catheter damage caused by injection pressure.

Flat rate shipping policy:
- Flat rate shipping is available for regular size/weight products only.
- Any surcharges incur due to package size, weight or delivery location will be notified to the client prior to the delivery.
FREE shipping policy:
- Naloxone items will have a minimum quantity in order to qualify for free shipping, and is not based on price. See individual product pages for more details.
- Oversize items, heavy orders, and deliveries to rural areas are excluded from this offer.
- Most orders are 1 - 6 business days for processing and shipping.
- You will receive an email containing the shipment tracking number, which can be entered on the shipping company’s website to track your order.
- Apartment and rental unit deliveries: Please be advised, due to security purposes, only ONE attempt will be made for delivery.
- If a delivery is not received in person, unless otherwise instructed, it will be available for pick up at the nearest Canada Post office. It is the purchaser's responsibility to pick up the order.
